Computer Inc. announced today the acquisition of Mirus Ltd. of
Plano, TX. Mirus has been highly regarded and well known as a provider of
software solutions for direct marketing and printing. Anchor Computer is
a leading provider of services and software in the Direct Marketing
Industry.
Mirus was founded in 1985, and has grown rapidly by offering innovative solutions for direct
mail marketers. Mirus is highly respected for its LetterWriter™ system, which enables high-speed laser printers to be set-up and driven
by a PC. Mirus' ImageMaker™, (the
latest version of the LetterWriter system) when coupled with its Service Bureau System, provides high
volume mailers with a total solution for all their processing needs.
Gary M. Siegel, President of
Anchor's Software Products Division, will have direct operational
responsibility for managing Anchor's software business activities which
will include merging Mirus's current offerings with Anchor.
In announcing the acquisition Mr.
