Geocoding and Demographic Data Enhancement
Customer data is one of the most valuable assets of every company. As a result, acquiring and maintaining customer data is at the forefront of successful business practices. Anchor Software uses extensive databases of names and addresses to correct addresses that do not validate through a standard CASS™ process, as well as remove deceased and incarcerated individuals.
Additionally, knowing who the customer is, and where they are is the first step to connecting and communicating with them. Geocoding (rooftop and centroid) enables businesses to assign latitude and longitude (lat/long) coordinates to customer addresses, allowing organizations to understand their customers better, based upon location. Businesses can use location based information and census data to direct customers to the nearest service point, enhance routing and delivery, plan site locations, and target marketing.
This proprietary Anchor Software solution uses an extensive database of names and addresses to correct the addresses that cannot be standardizes using MaxCASS OS and/or MegaCoder. Using unique matching techniques and programming logic, records that have not been CASS certified (including not being confirmed with DPV®) can be passed against the AEP database; then, information that may be available (i.e. first name, last name, middle name, primary address, secondary address, etc) is used to correct the addresses.
These systems are utilized to eliminate inappropriate records from lists and databases. The Deceased File contains over 60 million records of deceased individuals that are derived from the Social Security Administration’s Death Masterfile and other reliable sources; the Prison File contains over 25,000 federal, state, and local prisons and detention centers.
Anchor Software offers Rooftop and Centroid GeoCoding for highly accurate latitude and longitude (lat/long) coordinates. GeoCoding enables businesses to assign lat/long coordinates to customer addresses, allowing organizations to understand their customers better, based on location. Lat/long coordinates also allow customer and constituent information to be visualized on a digital map. Businesses can use this information to direct customers to the nearest service point, enhance routing and delivery, and plan site locations.
