2020 USPS Postal Price Changes

 

On October 9th, the United States Postal Service filed notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC). This filing referred to proposed price changes that will take effect Jan. 26, 2020 if they are approved.

The proposed prices include an average increase of approximately 1.9%. Shipping Services, which are adjusted according to market conditions, will see price increases vary by product. Priority Mail Express would increase 3.5% on average and Priority Mail would increase 4.1% on average. The new prices do not include an increase in the price of a 55 cent First-Class Mail Forever stamp, postcard stamps at 35 cents, and 1-ounce flats at $1.
